hello there,

I live in Canada, and my parents live in Pakistan. I am trying to apply online for TRV (temporary resident visit visa ) for Canada. I made an account on cic.gc/login. and also done eligibility test. now there is a list of supporting docs. I am applying on behalf of my parents. they need "Marriage License/Certificate (required) "... if click on detail of this required doc.. it says..

""""
Document: Marriage License/Certificate

If you were married in Canada:

You must have a marriage certificate issued by the province or territory where the marriage took place.

If you were married outside Canada:

The marriage must be valid under the law of the country where it took place and under Canadian law.

A marriage performed in an embassy or consulate must comply with the law of the host country where it took place, not the country of nationality of the embassy or consulate.

pls help me out, do i have to submit my parents marriage certificate? or no ::)

thanks
