Aug 2019 outland applicant. I applied for my spouse and even sent an email to IRCC.COVID-TravelExemptions-Exemptionsdevoyage-COVID.IRCC@cic.gc.ca so they could prioritize your application. They say they would reply back within 14 days but been over a month with no response. I see not they changed it to a webform instead of email.

hey hi I’m jan 2020 PR applicant . I completed my biometrics n medical n got sponsor approval and it is in cpc Mississauga and i did not receive any update .. later i applied TRV on Nov 4 2020 and it crossed the processing times and recently march 24 th i sent an email to mailto:IRCC.COVID-TravelExemptions-Exemptionsdevoyage-COVID.IRCC@cic.gc.ca , i did not receive any reply from them , now i can see the update as to fill the webform can i submit again?

IRCC states that multiple requests should not be submitted and that this can result in delays.

15 days is not a long time when it comes to responses from IRCC.

Getting a TRV for a spouse of a PR and citizen is still very difficult to get and can take a while for a response

You can apply for TRV at any time

You only get an exemption IF your spouse can get a TRV. Many misinterpreted this announcements as all spouses would be granted TRVs which is not correct.

Submitted immediately family member exemption webform but forgot to enter my passport number in description but i attached my passport copy document ..so It won’t be a pblm right?

There is no immediate family program to apply for. If your spouse is approved for a TRV she/he can just travel with proof they are married to a citizen or PR. Process to get a TRV remains the same. The majority of spouses will get denied but no harm trying.
