Heyy
I recently applied for a study permit but got refused on grounds of misrepresentation. I also got a ban for 5 years. The issue was my experience letter which they found fraudulent. The reason maybe that I did not left on best terms and did not serve my 2 months notice. I tried to explain this in my PFL along with salary slips. But they still rejected.
Now I really want to study in canada and has already paid my full tuition fee.

One option is Temporary Resident Permit. Can I apply for a TRP along with a study permit application?
What will be my chances of getting it approved?
@scylla your advise would be helpful

Zero chance of approval. Unfortunately when you submit fraudulent documents you have to deal with the consequences. You will have to wait for 5 years before attempting to come to Canada.

A TRP has pretty much no chance of approval. Wanting to study in Canada is not a compelling reason to overcome your misrepresentation.

My career and future prospects don't come in compelling reasons?
My study application to other countries will also get affected due to this.
And the college will not even give full refund of my tuition fee. There be huge loss financially too.

No. Compelling reasons are reuniting with spouses, dying family members etc. You can further your career and future elsewhere.

Seems rather foolish to pay for nonrefundable tuition knowing that you've been banned from the country. Sorry, but that's your own fault.

I paid for tuition before applying for study permit.
I had no idea that I would be banned for 5 years.

Agreed with above that a TRP will fail.

What school does not refund tuition? All DLIs know a visa is never guaranteed and offer a refund. Report the school if they insist on not refunding your tuition.

Why would you request or present an experience letter from an employer you're not in good term? It's better to explain why you'll not present a document than knowingly presenting or conceal an information for the purpose of inducing immigration process. Like other said, your chances is zero. The term in your offer of acceptance must have stated that certain percentage of your tuition will be deducted after certain days of school resumption. Do you have any family member in Canada? (parent, child, spouse,..)

So there is nothing that I can do now?

I don't think the TRP has any chance of succeeding.

IMO your only option is to hire an immigration lawyer in Canada to try to overturn the misrepresentation ban. Of course no guarantee this will be successful.

I've seen previously on the forum that some schools don't give a refund when the specific refusal reason is misrepresentation.
