For teachers, teaching is a regulated profession in Canada, and needs certifications from provincial governments irrespective of the country an immigrant belongs to.badshah500 said:

My NOC is also 4214. Based on dozens of job postings that I have read, it appears that a CPR/First-aid certification and a license is also required. Can do this certification after I get a job or should I do this in my home country? I'm afraid if I get the certificate in my home country it may not be valid in Canada.
