TCF CANADA is now accepted...

Hi all,

Wanted to share the info that as of yesterday November 7th 2018, there is a second language test available for French in addition to the TEF CANADA. It's the TCF CANADA. Both are now accepted for immigration to Canada (Outside Québec).
A different grading is applied to this new test, along with a new CLB conversion chart depending on your specific stream.

Thanks for sharing such an important update.

This will be good news for lot of peope who reside in a country where TEF isn´t available (like my country, only TCF is offered so I had to travel outside only to take TEF).

People will have more options to take their french tests and also, they would have the chance to retake them more easily.

Absolutely.
Also, TEF was only held for like twice a month. This will definitely open up some options for many!

Yes. TCF has been accepted for Quebec process.

ahh sorry, I thought you were asking about Quebec.

For EE, specifically TCF CANADA is accepted (and TEF CANADA, as previously).
