I know Family isn't the right forum to ask, but I can't find out much in the Taxation forum.
When I start working, would it be simpler, taxation wise, to keep my own checking and savings account separate from my Canadian fiance? Originally my fiance and I were going to open joint checking and savings accounts, but I've read that it may complicates things. Again though, I'm not 100% sure.
At some point before tax day I'd like to talk to a consultant up here, but that's still a little ways away.
