Hi

I am an Australian Citizen who lived and worked in Alberta for seven months last year, leaving in Septemeber 2011. I earned an income and paid tax.
Would I be classified as a resident for tax purposes for my time in Canada?
Do I need to complete a tax return? And, now that I am back in Australia, is there any way to do this online?

Any information anyone can provide would be great.

Thanks :)

Since you earned income in Canada, you need to complete a tax return. If this is your first time filing a canadian tax return, you will need to send the forms by mail. Visit www.cra.ca for more information.
