I had arrived in Canada in Sept 2021 and had filed my taxes in which I had received a tax return for the sum of Tax Paid + CPP that was deducted from paycheck along with monthly and quarterly benefits. Now for a tax return for 2022 my income has significantly increased and I will have two T4's and I'm still a student while I will file a tax return this year, so this year also should I expect to get an initial refund for the sum of Tax Paid + CPP again or is there a different formula towards it?

Hello,

You would not receive your CPP and EI contribution for TY2022 unless your whole year income is less than about $3000. In 2021, you must had income is comparatively less. (approx. not more than $3,000)

Kindly let me know for any tax questions.
