Hi everyone

My wife and I are PR holders and landed in July 2022.

She currently works in Montreal and I moved in December to Toronto to start my job.

Regarding filing taxes for FY 2022, is it advisable to file taxes separately? (She will do it under Quebec and I will do it under Ontario)

Also, will filing taxes separately have any implications or issues when we apply for Citizenship, down the road?

Thanks in advance.

Have to file separately but some info from each of you needs to go on the others return.

No impact for Citizenship.
