Taking the Citizenship Test

Hello all,

It has been a long time since I have been on this forum. I have been living in Canada as a perm res for three years now. This forum was invaluable to helping me through that process.

Now I am eligible to take the citizenship test and I was wondering if any of you have done this and if you can share your expiences. I wonder if it's even worth the hassle and costs (it is quite expensive).

Also, on the website, it says that it can take 2 years to process. 2 YEARS??? Is this accurate in your experiences??

This is the Family Class part, and most of the discussion here is about sponsoring members of the family class. Click on the link I posted above and you should be able to get your questions answered there from more knowledgeable people on the topic of Canadian Citizenship.
