We were planning to go somewhere in end of Nov/early Dec for vacation for a week.
(Due to some reason, the earliest time we can go is Nov 20th-ish or after.)
But I am writing my test next Monday. I am not sure how long it will take for me to get an oath.
My home country does not allowed me to have a dual citizenship, so from the day I do an oath, I won't be able to use their passport.
I am concerned about having an oath just before the vacation, so that it won't give me enough time to apply for the passport.
I do not want to postpone oath because of the delay. I've been RQ-ed, so it's been already 2 years since I applied and next year and the year after, I might travel lot more.
Any advice? If I don't go overseas for vacation, any places that you recommend that's within Canada? I'm in Toronto.
