I am an International Student in a full-time university program.
I started my first year of uni in Sep 2014 and studied full-time till April 2017.
Due to mental illness I missed credit hours for 2 elective courses before Sep 2016. So I had to take the 2 courses before entering my 4th year.
Therefore my situation is:
Fall 2016 (full-time)
Winter 2017 (full-time)
Summer 2017 (break)
Fall 2017 (full-time)
Winter 2018 (planning to take this semester off because I have already finished the 2 courses...and I'm trying to get a job from my tutor, i have co-op working permit)
Summer 2018 (full-time from May to August)
Fall 2018 (co-op term, required)
Winter 2019 (full-time, last term)
Graduating in April 2019
As listed above, I am planning to take Winter 2018 off, will it be a trouble when I apply for the PGWP after graduating in 2019?
Can enrolling as a full-time student in Summer 2018 be a make up for the semester off?
If it is going to make me not eligible for PGWP then I have to change my plan for next term (cancel my job application for January and register another 3 courses to be a full-time student...)
Thanks in advance!
I appreciate anyone who spent time reading or replying my thread.
