T4 paper work question

Hello, I have a question regarding the documents for express entry. If my employer refuse to provide me with T4, can I use the online version of the t4(more simple form)from cra instead of the official one from my employer?
What would be the difference ? Will it affect my application ?

Your employer doesn't provide a T4. CRA provides it.

how did you do your taxes? that's the T4 you should use
