Syrian Police record

Hey guys,

does anybody had to send a Syrian police record ? we didnt have the chance to provide it (my wife went in 2009) and we sent an explanation letter
background check is still in process

I wanted to know how many times for this

If IRCC has accepted and started processing your application........they will after reviewing your application contact you if IRCC need more police certificates to process your application.

Refer Checklist.....if you need PCC from Syria.......Police Certificate is only required from;

1. The country where you (or they) currently live, if you have lived there for six months or more; and
2. The country where you (or they) have spent most of your (their) life since the age of 18.

thanks my friend, we already sent an explanation letter saying it wasnt possible to provide the one from Syria with an email from the syrian embassy of argentina. I saw on the gmcs note that the background check is in process.

You do not have to provide a police certificate from Syria unless IRCC ask for one.

yes they asked us this beginning of 2018, one month ago they said they transfered the file to bogota office....

we will see but i think we will overpass the 12 months....
