Hello! I'm a Malaysian student. I've recently applied for Trent University and U of Toronto, only to find out that U of T offers September intake only, so I decided to accept Trent's offer for January intake(Winter2016), I didn't want to take a gap year as I've completed my studies here already, am just waiting to transfer.
Now that U of T accepted me, is it possible to just study in Trent for a semester then take a break in summer to save my fees while waiting to enrol in U of T in September? My major concern in that what if Trent doesn't allow me to switch/transfer to U of T after studying for just a semester! Maybe they have some sort of policy requiring me to study for at least a year? I couldn't find any sources on their website though. Also, I've applied for study permit using Trent's offer letter, if I switched to U of T, do I need to reapply study permit?
