Surname Name in Marriage certificate

Hi I am from India ,My surname in marriage certificate has spelling mistake could you please help with legal documents accepted by CIC for the above issue

Go to the marriage registry to make the correction.

Hi Thanks for response ,but as per Indian government correction cant be done in original certificates instead we will get a gazette notification by submitting a notarized affidavit declaring the name change.
So can I show the notarized affidavit as a legal document for name change
