Hello,
I received ITA recently and I'm submitting my documents online. My spouse already has a Canadian PR. He does not live there and will not be accompanying me to Canada. I did mention this while filling out my application. I also have to submit his documents for my application.
In the checklist of the supporting documents, I see that apart from the marriage certificate, it also asks for "proof of relationship". Upon reading instructions, I see that it lists the marriage certificate again along with the birth certificate, etc. What does this section mean? Do I upload my marriage certificate again?
Another confusing section is the "proof of family status". I can understand that it would be present under my checklist because my spouse is a PR holder. But it is asking "proof of family status" for my spouse too. Does that mean I uploads his PR card copy again?
Thanks.
