SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

My husband who's applying to sponsor us (my daughter and I) has received back our application papers together with a letter indicating some instructions for us to complete our application. The letter also contained instruction on getting a medical for my daughter and I. The thing that I need help with is the " SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS" they are asking for.
What else should we include? we have submitted everything that is in the list.

Are they asking for just "supporting documents"? Read it very carefully.... did you include pictures, correspondence, family statements, joint bills, joint life insurance and medical policies?

Yes, when they say Supporting Documents they are referring to the proof of relationship between yourself and your spouse. This can include emails, chat logs, phone bills, photographs, used boarding passes, receipts for things you purchase together or for each other, letters from family and/or friends that can attest to your relationship with your spouse...basically anything that you have that proves who you are to each other and that your marriage is bona fide. For us, this was the bulk of our application, hundreds of pages of proof.

Just make sure you read very carefully the document checklist for both the sponsorship application as well as the PR application as this will have everything you need to send on it.

It also has on the document checklist the medical receipt, so you must have missed this previously, or you don't have both of them.

Make sure you read through these lists very carefully and you include everything they are asking for.

Do not forget to also include proof of your relationship with your daughter. This could be birth certificate of your daughter with your name as mother.
