Hi everyone,

Would you know whether once the Express Entry application is submitted with all the required documents on the portal, would the IRCC reach out to the applicant for other/supporting documents and information when necessary or they will reject the application altogether if they deem one/any of them insufficient?

Thanks,
Parsifal

Ircc does send out ADRs (additional document request). But depends on which document. If pcc is missing then I know of cases that have received outright rejection. I know some people who have received additional document requests for proof of funds.

Also, one can attach additional documents to one's case using IRCC webform, if a document has got left out or if an update has to be made to the application. Here's the link to the webform https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

Well more often than not they will reject cases especially for important documents such as PCC, Roles and responsibilities etc. while in some cases, they do request additional documents. If you decide to send additional documents without CIC requesting them, it is solely on the discretion of CIC to accept that document.
