Hey guys, I'm currently in Canada applying for CEC and filling out IMM5562E - Your Travels.

I am a resident of the UK and trying to find out if i need to include trips back to the UK (for Xmas etc) on the form? Technically i'm returning to my country of residence, but returning to Canada after visiting the UK classes me as leaving my country of residence.

Not sure whether to include these visits on the form or not, please advise!

Thanks,

I think the form says country of origin OR of residence. I take that to mean trips away from wherever I am residing. So for when you were living in the UK, write down any trips you took out of the UK. If you are living in Canada, write down trips you have taken out of Canada, including those to the UK.

What if I was residing in Canada and did a short trip to US to get some gas and couple of cheap beers? Does this need to be included as well?

1) You don't need trips to your home country.

2) you need to include short trips to US (even if it was only for hours). Use extra sheet if needed, CIC is asking people to re-send these types of documents.
