We applied for my parents and medical were completed and passed about 2.5 months ago. Father was a government employee. I have already emailed them inquiring about status. I mentioned that I am pregnant and will need their support and help with kids to help speed up the processs. I still haven't heard anything. It has been almost 5 months since we applied.

There's really nothing you can do but wait. There is no way to speed up the process.

Generally speaking, we recommend against saying that parents are coming here to help take care of children since IRCC can view this as working without authorization.

As scylla said, there is no speeding up the process. You don't take priority over the people who are in line ahead of you.
