Hello, My Mom visited Canada as Supervisa this year on Jan 17th 2023. She already hold US multiple entry Visitor Visa on her old passport. She is planning to Visit US by flight on Jul 22nd 2023 and return to Canada in September 2023

Questions:
1) For a supervisa holder, should she apply Visitor Record, to allow her re-entry to Canada and to avoid any questions while entering US?
2) Is she allowed to Travel to US with her current Super Visa status in Canada & US visitor visa status, even thought it is after 6 months from Date of Landing?

The reason of my ask is, If its a regular visitor visa, she would need to apply Visitor Record to extend stay in Canada after 6 months and to allow here travel to US.

Your help & guidance is much appreciated. Thanks.

1) No. There is no point in getting a visitor record. A visitor record does not mean she is allowed re-entry into Canada. All a visitor record does is allow someone to stay in Canada with valid status.
2) Yes, she is allowed.

Great Thanks Scylla.

Is it different process if we enter US by Car or by Flight? Last month, While we were visiting Niagara Falls in US for 1 night stay in US, US border service Officer suggested to have visitor record if she want to reenter canada if its after 6 months of landing. He mentioned that SuperVisa is still a visitor visa.

Does my 'Super Visa' Mom treated as Implied status after 6 months on Landing in Canada? Landed on Jan 17 2023. Plan to US travel on Jul 21 2023.

Will there be any issue at US Border services while flying by Air via International Airports.? Please advice.

The big issue is if she is appearing to live in Canada and just resetting her stay every 6 months she can be denied entry into Canada. Is she returning to her home country at any point if that is not the US?
