Super visa stay beyond 2 years on multiple visits

I got super visa for my mother in 2014 valid till 2019 and she has visited me around 4 times travelling back and forth my home country. During the last entry, the visa officer had told her that she can't stay beyond 2 years and gave her only 6 months on her visit.
As per my understanding, any single visit should not be beyond 2 years.

She has to go back to our home and return again after 6 months. What should I do? Should I get a new super visa or just ask her to travel as-is. Is there any documentation written which clearly says the single visit should not be over 2 years and multiple visits can span beyond 2 years.

Thanks

The super visa only allows your mother to visit Canada, not move here or live here.

How long she is allowed into Canada for each visit is entirely up to the CBSA officer she speaks to at the border. If the CBSA officer feels that she has been spending too much time in Canada, they have the option to only grant her a short entry into Canada.
