Hi Fellows,
Passed my application August 11 but after a week we got a letter w/c we thought we're granted.

I am in despair after receiving a letter from the immigration stating the rejection of our SuperVisa Application.
It was denied with the following reasons:

* I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds, including income or assets , to carry out your stated purpose in going to Canada or to maintain yourself while in Canada and effect your departure.
* You have not provided sufficient documentation to support your host income and assets.

Ive heard I just need a letter from the lawyer? coz my application is 90% done its just funds but having lawyer is a bit pricey

-We do not provide my mother's bank account statement since we mention on the letter of invitation that we will provide ALL her expenses during her stay. Besides, she is 64 and unemployed so she doesn't have funds to show but I do so i passed my NOA and assets on my account. Should I transfer the money to her to show she have funds on her own? We only put $4000 with the question "funds for my stay" Is that enough? how much funds they really need us to show?

-I have provide Notice of Assesment and assets statement but neglect to pass any pay stubs and Certificate of Employent, Is this what they're asking for on the 2nd requirement?

Also, what does it mean "to maintain yourself while in canada and effect your departure" As I said we will cover everything she doesn't have to worry, effect of departure does it mean we need to buy ticket to reassure them she's going to come back to her country of origin?

The main reason I am sponsoring my mom is for me to work having my 1st child 1yr old is just hard to get shifts from work with the bills we have my husband is having hard time with finances and budgeting his income. I didn't say this as a main purpose on my letter of invitation because I've read that it wouldn't work that way. Im not sure what they really asking for really confused what else is missing..pls help

Would really appreciate your ideas!Thanks!

Yes - effect your departure means buy a ticket and return home.

Note that CIC is also saying that the application didn't include sufficient evidence of the sponsor's (i.e. your) income and assets.

What did you provide as evidence of your income?

Did you meet the LICO? Including your parent, you have 4 in your households therefore the minimum LICO is $43,942. Does your submitted NOA shows this minimum income? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5256ETOC.asp#incometables
