Dear All Senior Members

I am going to immigrate to CA from the UK only because i want my ageing parents to be with me. In the UK there is no such facility of super visa, so I am considering CA. My CA PR application is underway. I have a few questions, please spare a little time if anyone can answer them positively. Thanks in advance.

1) Does the sponsor has to spend x amount of time before sponsoring super visa?
2) Since the applicants are living in India, so they will be undergoing medical exam. Does anyone know what all will involve in the test? My father has a history of heart attack and stroke. By the grace of god he is absolutely fine however he does need to see his doctors every three months for routine checkups. Can his medical history become a weak point?
3) They do not have any strong ties in Canada as my two elder sisters and paternal and maternal relatives are in India.
4) How much approximately medical insurance costs---Age 71, history of heart bypass surgery, history of stroke, diabetic, history of knee replacement.

If there is any other thing someone like to share, pls....more than welcome.

Sponsor needs to have a minimum income. For 2, its $30268

I am sorry..i am not sure!!!

Might work in your favor as your parents should have and should prove connections to home country.
4) How much approximately medical insurance costs---Age 71, history of heart bypass surgery, history of stroke, diabetic, history of knee replacement.
Canadian resident can answer this!! However, i think it depends on place of residence in Canada and medical history

refer to these links, there is some useful information which could help you to plan. New document requirement is to submit the most recent Tax assessment paper, that means you need to work atleast one year and file taxes for that year to get that document (Notice of Tax Assessment from CRA and T4 for that year)

For medical- you should register for Medical Insurance for your parents for atleast 1 Year, That medical insurance company should be able to offer you a plan required for your parents - refer 2nd link

I don't know anything about super visa procedure, but my father was approved 10-year visa last month and I'm only a temporary resident.
