Super Visa - Only for 1 Year instead of 10 Years????

Hi there,

I applied for my dad's Super Visa and he was only given 1 Year Multiple instead of 10 Years, he still had 3 years left on his passport validity? is there a way I can ask Canadian Embassy to re-issue or will I have to re-apply once my Dad is back?

Not everyone gets 10 years, it depends on individual circumstances, that is, how likely CIC feels your dad will not plan on overstaying in Canada.
