Hello,

I am in the process of starting a super visa application for my mom who currently resides in Argentina but its a citizen of Venezuela. I would like to understand a few things before doing this:

1. As my mother has my 16 years old as her dependant, do I have to do 2 separate applications (One for my mom and one for my brother) or can I combine their applications. Per example forms, invitation letter, etc.?

2. What are the most relevant supportive documents that my mom would have to present? (Job letter, any property ownership documents)

Thank you so much in advance!

Your brother does not qualify for a supervisa and must apply for a normal TRV. So yes they must apply separately. Your brother can not remain longterm like your mother. Do they have permanent status in Brazil? It will be quite difficult especially for your brother to get approved if he is Venezuelan without status in Brazil and should only be applying to visit you for a short visit during school holidays. As a visitor he is not entitled to work or attend school. Your mother should provide property ownership, ties to her home country, ties to Brazil, savings especially to support your brother’s visit, your brother should show proof of registration into school for the next semester, etc.

How did you obtain status in Canada? If you applied for asylum it will be even more difficult for them to get approval.
