Hi everyone,

I am currently looking into getting my mom a super visa to come spend summers and extended time here.

However, I do not meet the income cutoff for one person, around $24000.

The reason is that I have started my own company the past year and we are just starting to make money, and I have been investing everything back.

Although I do not meet the current Income cutoff, I have a mid- 6-figures saving account that I can prove with statements. I wonder if that can satisfy IRCC that I will be able to support my mother when shes here?

I have been having trouble finding anything else online.

Any insights are appreciated greatly. God Bless.

No. The income requirement must be satisfied through a salary through a job in Canada. Savings aren't accepted as substitute.

She can still apply for a regular visitor visa.

Just to add - you need to meet the minimum income requirements for yourself, your mother and any dependents (i.e. spouse, children). So you need to have enough income for at least 2 people (not 1).
