Hi there,

I have questions regarding super visa eligibility.

I am currently working under PGWP (filed for CEC PR application, hoping to hear back end of this year).
Income - 70,000
My common law partner is a PR.

Can I apply supervisa for my parents?
I know I am not eligible myself, but if my common law partner (relationship more than 3 years) is a PR, can I help my parents apply super visa based on that?
To make things a little more complicated, my partner is not working currently.
But I believe I meet the LICO requirement based on my salary. (for 4 person households)

Also, my parents are applying from Malaysia. Which checklist should I follow?
Canadian embassy in Singapore requires a larger list of document than CIC checklist.
(Can't post link here)

CVAC in Singapore asked us to follow the checklist from the Singapore CIC website? Is this true?
Note: Malaysia citizens need to apply from Singapore because there is no processing centre in Malaysia.

Thanks for your help!

No - you can't bring your parents to Canada as visitors using the Super Visa. Only permanent residents and citizens are eligible. It doesn't matter that your common law partner is a PR. You are the one who must either be a citizen or PR to qualify.
