I am hoping that someone could read my post and provide advice or information about it.
I have applied online for my mother's super visa on April 18, 2015. To date, we still do not have any medical request from CIC. It has been over 7 weeks now. My mother is based in Dubai, UAE. CIC website shows processing of TRV in UAE is 14 days, but it does not specifically mention the processing time for super visa.
Whenever we check the status of her application through her CIC account, it shows "REVIEW OF MEDICAL RESULTS - REVIEW IN PROGRESS"
Problem is we haven't done my mother's medical examination yet because we are still waiting for CIC to provide the request.
Most threads I read say that they have received request for medicals just a week after they've submitted their application.....
(I didn't know that medicals can be done upfront - have I known it, we would have done it, too.... :-[ )
I emailed CIC Abu Dhabi but just received an auto reply.
Can anybody let me know if they've experienced the same thing I did? Or can somebody let me know what I should do next? PLEASE :'(
