I have applied to the "university of western ontario" fro M.Sc programme in applied mathematics this week. Now I need to send the attested documents. What douse this attested means? That I need to attest the photocopies from HEC or just by a professor. Please suggest me. What about my IELTS score. I am supposed to send the IELTS score by myself or through IELTS service.

hello buddy.... Attested means that u need to verify ur all photocopies of ur certificates and that verification is done by only a gazted officer with their stamp and signature, that all those photocopies are as same as the orignal document. And the gazted officer may b a advocate with notral power he/she must have notral stamp.. And a high school principle and colg principle is also a gaztd oficer. And abt IELTS acordng to me when u send ur other documents u can also send that IELTS score sheet urself. Best of luck for future.

1. Attestation - (applicable to you if you are from India) you have to attest documents from your University office. The "Registrar" of the University is authorized to do so. But attestation is not enough ! Attested documents MUST be "sealed pack in an envelope" with official stamp and attestation over it. (On the envelope flap!)
and thn simply send it via DHL.

I am saying it based on my own experience.

2. IELTS - Its not your job to send IELTS Score to the University. It will be send by the IELTS officials.

But yes, you can send one IELTS photocopy to the University just for "reference". Its certainly not a proof of your IELTS.

At the time of IELTS exam, you will be asked to menition "5 recipients" of your score.

if you have already end up with IELTS exams and didnt mention any recipients, thn simply go to IELTS website and download "Additional TRF" Form, fill it up and send the same alongwith Rs. 1000 DD to IELTS office. You IELTS Score will thn be mailed by IELTS office to your prospective University.
