Experts,

My self and my wife are planning to apply for Canada Immigration and we are able to get most of the details from this blog.

we have done with IELTS and WES.

My wife completed her MBA and having 6 years of experience as HR manager and i wanted her to make primary as her education and IELTS score is better than me.

I did my PGC in computer networks and as per WES its postgraduate diploma (One semester) and having 7 years exp as DBA and 4 years as Siebel Administrator.

i heard that for HR manager NOC code we will have very less quota compare to Database administrator. if that true?

Did they take into consideration of High IELTS score, experience, NOC code and no of children while picking up with file for PNP.

can any one suggest how to proceed with EE profile.

Regards,
VJ.

Among both of you whoever scores higher should be the primary applicant provided the NOC falls under skill type 0, A or B. For PR application, quota or job opportunities does not matter as long as you meet the minimum eligibility criteria and support it with necessary documents.

Now with regard to getting jobs in you relevant fields will be more relevant after your PR or after you land in Canada. So would suggest to go ahead and make your wife the primary applicant.

From the perspective of the EE application alone, it is better for the person with the highest score to be the Principal Applicant. There are no occupation-based quotas under EE programs (FSW, CEC, FST).

HOWEVER, it is possible that some provincial nominee programs target specific occupations. If you know what province you want to live in, it is best to read all the rules for that particular provincial program.
