Submitting permanent resident application online?

It appears that the processing time for online permanent resident applications are much quicker than going the snail mail route. This being the case I would like to go this route but I do not see much information on how to do this. I realize that the IMM#### forms can be submitted online but what about in the case of supporting documents (passport, photos of your relationship, bank statement, letter documenting your relationship, medical, etc)?

For the visitor visa we submitted the application electronically with the passport scan etc but I do not see any method for this regarding permanent residence.

Applications in the family class cannot be submitted online. They have to be sent to Mississauga via Mail or courier.

Agreed with Kopje. I'm not sure what processing times you were loooking at - however it's not possible to submit family class sponsorship applications online. Mail in only.
