submitting EE profile while have a student visa request in progress

my spouse has applied for Master's degree program and we have recently submitted our request for a student visa for her and an open work permit visa for me. meanwhile, WES has informed me that they have successfully assessed my educational degrees and i am eligible to create my EE profile and submit my request. now the question is that if it is a good idea to submit EE while we have a student visa request in progress? because we have said that we want to come back to our country at the end of the Master's program.
