Submitted Application on August 02, 2018 and still no AOR

I sent in my wifes application to Sydney by UPS and it was delivered on August 07, 2018. We still haven't received an AOR in our emails and I'm starting to get a little worried.

If no AOR is received, what is the process to find out what happened to our application.

Also, if an AOR is received, what are the next steps that we should expect? We are hoping she can move up here to Alberta from Florida by the end of next year.

Any answers to our questions would be most helpful.

In a few more weeks, you'll either get an AOR or you will get the package returned to you.

If you get AOR, you then wait, and answer additional questions, and then your wife is here

I wish I had a more helpful answer. AOR is 8-10 weeks at the moment, but it's a moving target. You will never get an AOR if they are returning the package to you because of missing or incorrectly filled out information.

Simply not yet receiving an AOR yet is not evidence of anything, though a few more weeks you could call CIC, and if you get through, you could ask them.

Just got the AOR today. August 07 to November 27th.
