Submitted application in December 2014 FSW

Hi Everyone,,,

NOC 2263, application received on 8th DEC-2014 Sydney NS by Donnie.
Still the number of application received by CIC shows a month old nuber i.e 147 in NOC 2263

How do I be sure that my application is received by CIC? Do they give any conformation by mail or any other way???
How can we know that our application is being counted in total received one?

No - CIC doesn't send a confirmation that your application was received. It will be a few months before you hear from CIC and know if your application has been accepted under the cap.

CIC doesn't update the count when an application is received. They update the count once they have opened your application and verified completeness. It's going to be a couple of months before they open your application.

heard that they are processing and issuing PER faster than usual as the FSW is about to end. is that true?
