Hi, I submitted my PGWP extension papers in Feb 2022 after I renewed my passport. I included every required documentation except for the letter of explanation, as I directly used the CIC.GC documentation and did not check any forum. Most of the documentation on the government site is designed for initial PGWP, whereas extension information is added in small areas and the main webpage I used as source did not specify that I had to include an explanation letter. Now on this forum I saw that it is "very important" to include this letter.
Anyways, on my IMM5710 I included the following paragraph:
Applied for 3 extensions of study permit while studying in Conestoga and one PGWP after finishing the course. The PGWP was not issued for the maximum possible length because of the Passport validity.
What are the chances of getting rejected for not including an explanation letter? How can I "expand" my current application and send this letter?
