@ enfield. I applied for my masters but itz not always true that u don't gonna get good job if u are diploma holder from canada. One of my family friend got his starting package of 45000 $ yearly or say 3750 $ monthly,. That's a good enough start. He completed his diploma in april 2011 from humber.
1. I am not saying anything against diploma courses.

2. I am talking about nefarious agency who send students to those cheap and useless diploma institutes from where they get heavy commission.

3. Infact I know one very good diploma course in Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Its 2 year diploma in BIT (information technology). No doubt, its really the best with paid internship and almost 100 placement.

4. Not even this, I even strongly recommend a 3 year diploma in Sales and Marketing from Unive$ity of British Columbia (one of the top notch unive$ity in North America).

**by the way, just ask your agent if he has tie up with this universtiy. Ofcourse its not ! This University dont even entertain agents.....

Just think if you do courses like this, then you will get more then what you deserve.

No issues mate :P I just thought you pointing out diploma courses. Anyhow i do agree with this bullshit agent stuff. They need more profits they are not concerned about careers

@sarah nd enfield
Please guys i need a help from ua side..i have got admission in Sheridan college,oakville, Ontario for computer technician diploma..i have filed my visa on 22-07-2011..Now as i applied thru agent and im afraid after i have read ur posts..Please guide me that if i get visa can i change my course as stated by you to Red river college,winnipeg..Please guide me with the same.I will be highly thankful!!

Az u have already filed your visa application. Wait for the result. Once u get the result u can contact Red river college for the admission. No doubt that u can ofcourse change ur course once u enter canada provided some other college offers u the desired course.

yes, exactly ! You can change course or institute with vaild study permit.

1. You don't even need to inform any office, ONLY if you are changing course from same to same level. It means you can change course/institute from, lets say Primary-to-Primary level OR Secondary-to-Secondary level, or even degree-to-degree , and for that "no need to notify anyone" !

2. BUT, if you change course/institute from Higher-to-lower level OR Lower-to-Higher level, then you MUST inform and apply ONLINE at local case processing centre in Alberta.

@sarah and enfield
Thank you guys so much..and i hope my fee gets transferred without any problem..And please tel me if sheridan is a good college otherwise or if any other college u guys recommend

Ya fee gets transferred from college to college , so no problem regarding that ! Good Luck for Visa

And what other colleges u recommend except centennial,humber and George brown?
have a look at Sauders Business School, University of British Columbia , they have well known 3 year diploma in sales and marketing. Sauder School of business is "one of Worlds top notch business school" for MBA program.

You can also look at NIAT, SIAT in Alberta and ofcourse Red River College in manitoba (Its BITS program is one of the best, its two year diploma) and

also if you are aspiring for PR then Manitoba is the best to apply. They have one program for international graduates from Manitoba institues. Under this unique program you can apply for PR even "without job offer". BUT you have enrolled in two year study course. Well, seats are limited but you can also apply in another program if you have job offer.

Similarly, in British Columbia, you can PR "straightaway without job offer" if your are MASTER Graduate from "Natural science field" (this is for Nurses, doctors)

otherwise, the last easy option is to try in Quebec. If you know french and have fhnished minimum 1 year course from "Quebec only" then you are eligible for PR even "without job offer"
