studying while visiting

Goodday, i am currently on a TRV in canada, and i plan to apply and begin studying in a canadian university/college, please
1, i would like to know where and how to begin the processing,........
2, will i have to go back to my country to do this?
3, how long will it take to complete the processing, since my TRV has just 4 months left to expire.

1. First you must be accepted by a school. Once you have been accepted by a school you must then apply for a study permit. Information on how to apply for a study permit is here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study.asp
2. The application has to be sent to the visa office responsible for your home country. Your passport will have to be sent to that visa office as well. And if an interview is required, it will be held in your home visa office too.
