Hello everyone
I am wanting to pursue a graduate certificate in accounting from York University. Also planning to take the advanced accounting program and continue with CPA.
Would like to know:
What is the probability of getting a PR after completing the above mentioned course and successfully completing my CPA. What I have known is that off late PR in Ontario is a challenge and students are moving to other provinces. So would like to have inputs regarding the same.

The second option which I am considering is a post baccalaureate diploma in Business mgmt from CBU, Nova Scotia. Would this be more suitable for obtaining a PR since NS might not have exploded like Ontario with foreign students. Also what are the job opportunities in Sydney, NS and are there enough opportunities to get a suitable profile in line with the education.
Would like to know which would be a better proposition.

Thanks in advance.

It's true that the province of Ontario doesn't really have many streams for International students except for Masters' (which is closed for the most of a year) and PhD streams. I think it has become harder for anyone to become permanent residents due to the competition in the recent few years. Express Entry cut-off scores are raising and PNPs are unpredictable. You can give yourself the best chance by getting some skilled work experience in your country before coming here. Foreign work experience + Canadian Education + Canadian work experience + Great IELTS score = high CRS points. With this, you are almost guaranteed to get an ITA.
