I am currently In Canada on a work visa and want to apply for a student visa and attend school. I have found the school and the course. A question on the website before the application is where are you applying from? Do I put the UK as that is where I am from? Or Canada? As I am not a permanent resident of Canada?

As you told, u r currently in Canada. So you have to select Canada as country u r applying from (i.e current country of residence)
