Hi guys, any advice welcomed.
My story: I'm from India and I have been accepted for 2years Masters program fall intake. My husband is working in the US under H1B, My 2 yr old son is a US citizen with a OCI card. I would like to take my son with me to Canada for the duration of my studies.
My query is 'which is the best way to apply for my Visa?' Should I apply as a family for me and my son. Or should I first get my student visa and then process a dependant visa for my son?
Is it possible to process a family Visa with two different nationalities? I'm stuck with so many confused questions.

If anyone has experience in such scenarios or any ideas, please help.
Thank you.

You don't apply for anything for your child. He will travel on his American passport and you will request a Visitor Record upon entry to match your study permit.
