Unfortunately, I have just received a rejection letter. One reason is completely wrong:
Pursuant to Section 219 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, I am not satisfied that you:
have submitted written documentation from the educational institution at which you intend to study
that states that you have been accepted to study there – I sent them what the college gave me – which I can’t find anything wrong with. This is Camosun College who have been accepted internationals for a very long time so they know what they are doing.
Here is the other which I don’t understand:
You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this
decision, I considered several factors, including: your personal assets and financial status. – Do they think we will try to stay because my husband and 2 children are already in Canada on study visas? I can show ties to home with proof that I own a business and home.
Thanks for your help and input.
