I'm hoping to study at a community college before transferring to a 4 year degree program but I was wondering will my visa get rejected for choosing community college over regular uni? Is there any bias?

Canada doesn’t have community colleges like the US. Just colleges and universities. Your choice of studies must make sense based on your previous education and work history. It is definitely less common to do 2 years in college and then transfer to a university program. Most do 4 years at the university because the price difference is not as dramatic as the US. Transfer between schools have become much easier in Canada. You should investigate whether it will be possible for your desired program.
