I did my 3 years Bachelor Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHM Jaipur in 2017 and was employed in Hotel Hayatt Regency Delhi for 1 year. Now I have decided to go for higher studies in Canada. But for Masters in same subject, all universities are having requirement of 4 years degree whereas mine is 3 year so I am not eligible for master. I decided to study 2 years Post Graduate Diploma in Hospitality( as I want PGWP for 3 years) but I'm getting confused with many types of courses available.
There are different types of Graduate Diploma/Certificates, Post-Graduate Diploma, Post-Baccalaureate diploma which are baffling me. So my queries are with a sincere request to guide and advise me on following:
1. Which type of diploma(2 years only) I should undertake that is Post-Graduate Diploma or Post-Baccalaureate diploma so that my Graduation degree is taken into account and I earn a diploma which is higher than my bachelor degree.?
2. In which province/state collages I should choose the course where there are big hotels where I can search jobs easily after study as well as I may be able to find jobs for 20 hours every week during study
3. What is job scope of hospitality in Canada.
4. If instead of 2 year diploma, I get admitted myself to one year or 1.6 year course, I think I will get only 1 year PGWP only but is there any way I can extend PGWP after one year by doing additional study or under rules available.
