i need study permit asap, do you think visiting the canada border service agency is okay?
Are you eligible to get a study permit at the border? Assume you have applied for a study permit and it is being processed outland so you need to wait for IRCC approval.

Who can apply at a POE
The foreign nationals who may apply for a study permit when entering Canada (section R214) are any

  • national or permanent residents of the United States (US)
  • people who have lawfully been admitted to the US for permanent residence
  • residents of Greenland or St. Pierre and Miquelon
Note: As of April 26, 2022, lawful permanent residents of the US do not need an eTA to fly to or transit through a Canadian airport. In all methods of travel, they must present their passport and proof of their valid lawful permanent resident status in the US (such as a valid green card or a valid I-551 [ADIT] stamp in their passport).
Note: To apply for a study permit at an air POE, a lawful permanent resident of the US who is travelling to Canada must apply for and obtain an eTA before boarding their flight to Canada.

yeah, am vistor and aslo have DLI

i applied for study while living in canada
How are you living in Canada as a visitor? Just because you applied from within Canada, this doesn’t mean that it is processed inland. Only certain people are eligible for processing inland (took course under 6 months, spouse is on work permit, spouse is sponsoring you for PR). If not, then your application is processed from your country of citizenship. You cannot get a permit at the border. You wait for approval.
