What is this $19k Canadian requirement? You want to show a total of a minimum of $10k Cdn. in the bank each month over 4 months.

I am in Canada right now. I am planning to study in the winter term. How to apply for GIC, Bank STMT, CA Letter etc. Can you please guide me. I am on SOWP currently. I want to change my status from SOWP to Student Visa. What are the requirements. Could someone guide please. Thanks
