I had applied for my student visa in October'18.
My medicals got updated on 20-Dec-2018.
Currently the status is that 'We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.'

Can anyone please tell how much more time will it take as my classes are from 7-jan-2019 and i haven't received my visa yet.

Also,can we drop a mail to embassy to speed up our process?

Please help!

Where are you from? As your classes start tomorrow you will have to defer now I would imagine.

I am from India.
I have mailed the uni asking for extension.
But how many days usually it takes to update the visa status,as already its been more than 60 days.

The guide time is 4 weeks for India, but remember this is only a guide. It can take longer due to the amount of applications etc. Have you contacted CIC?

It's been 60 days and you have not contacted them yet? You really need to do some more research when you try to move to another country. That aside, you can send a webform

Actually my agent stopped me to write a mail to embassy and told me to wait.
Yeah I filled that webform today.Do we get a response from the webform??

Submitted application online on September 24th 2018
Medicals done on 13th December 2018
Medicals passed 15th December 2018
Upto now am still waiting for the verdict from the CIC
...I am from Kenya...really stressed up

Fire your agent then. Any good agent would tell you if it's over the guide timeline, to get in contact with them.

I have no UCI number or Application number as all the information in the hand of agent and he is not responding at all. Thus I used Technical Difficulties option in the web form to submit it. Otherwise it will not accept my web form.

How long CIC will take to answer on web form?

I would be more worried about why your agent isn't answering you or divulging the information on YOUR application
