I applied for study permit on 23/9/2021
Till now there is no reply . Last update was on 23/9/2021 Biometric.

Is this normal ? Anyone with the same situation?

Yup here’s my timeline


I applied on the 15th of July 2021

26th of July 2021 Biometrics done

No news all I had was eligibility review in progress

January 14th 2022 got my medical request

January 27th 2022 medical request done

1st February 2022 medical results passed and updated

8th February 2022 passport request

9th-10th February 2022 sent passport

15th February 2022 passport decision done

17th February 2022 got back passport APPROVED

Kenyan national applied and did the whole process in Kenya .

So in your waiting period , how did you go about your school admission

Omg I’m sorry for the late reply but my case is a bit different because I’m in a flight school and flight training is flexible and can start at any time I started the visa process in April 2021 and the school gave me an LOA saying Sept 2021 which I couldn’t make and they gave me a new one for Nov 2021 which I didn’t make and so they gave me a new one again for Feb 2022

My School was very understanding as I wasn’t their only international student that was having issues with the long visa wait I hope this answers your question

i hope you’ll receive the news soon if not look into sending an ATIP form I’m not exactly sure what it is fully but you fill the form and in about 6 weeks they send you a step by step of what they’ve been doing with your application

I guess all we have to do is wait as well... patience is a virtue IRCC forgot to mention you need throughout this process hahaha
