Study Permit submitted for Amendments. Can I leave and enter Canada without it?

Hi all. I mailed my study permit to the immigrations office for amendments. It has been more than 3 months and no-one has contacted me or provided any updates for my permit. I have to go back to my home country next week for 3 weeks, can I leave and enter Canada with this status? I have raised a webform and received no feedback, I have also tried calling them multiple times from last week but was not able to connect with an agent.

Do you have a valid TRV? You were amending not extending your permit?

Yes, I have a TRV. Study permit was sent to get a clause added for eligibility to work and received no reply from immigrations.

If your TRV is valid and doesn't expire while you are out of the country, you should be able to enter.

Thank you, what about border immigration at my home country? What if they ask me to show my study permit, will a TRV be enough? Is there any way they can check my status and let me leave?

Are you talking about your country's immigration border? If so, that is your country's issue, not Canadian immigration.
